In 2018, Rhinoceros gallery was born.
The gallery's artistic spaces, part exhibition and part sales, are revealed to the public by following particular footprints along the six floors of the building and culminating in a refreshment area and viewing of the panoramic terraces.
Rhinoceros is used to create an 800 square metre exhibition space in the Foro Boario, an area of central importance in ancient Rome.
The redevelopment of the area includes the recovery and renovation - signed by archistar Jean Nouvel - of a historic building between the Velabro, the Palatino and the Bocca della Verità called "rhinoceros". With six floors dedicated to art, with a strong and unconventional sign, this architecture always in tension is an engine of creativity and a place for culture to produce experiments in absolute freedom. rhinoceros, inspired by Walter Benjamin's Passages of Paris, proposes an innovative and extra-ordinary way of presenting exhibitions, multimedia creations, action, artistic interference ranging from visual to performing arts, but also a module for living and experiencing art and in art.
