According to the new Tripadvisor data of 2019 on the tourists and travelers reservations from all over the world, the Flavian amphitheater is confirmed, for the second consecutive year, as the most booked monument.
Furthermore, Italy is also the only nation together with the United States, to have three positions in the world Top 10 which, in addition to the Colosseum, includes the Vatican Museums in third place and St. Mark's Square in Venice in tenth position; fourth and fifth positions are occupied respectively by the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the Gallery of the Academy of Florence. In second place, after the Colosseum, we find the Louvre Museum in Paris.
