Republic Day 2 June 2024: Morning closures of museums and archaeological sites

Closure to the public on 2 June until 14.00 on the occasion of the parade for the Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of the following sites

- Flavian Amphitheatre (Colosseum);
- Archaeological areas of the Roman Forum and Palatine Forum;
- Sacrario delle Bandiere at the Vittoriano;
- Panoramic Terrace at the Vittoriano with suspension of the relative commercial activities there;
- Palazzo Venezia (public access is however allowed from 12.00 exclusively from the entrances of Via del Plebiscito and Via degli Astalli);
- Archaeological area of the Imperial Forums and Trajan's Markets - Museum of the Imperial Forums.
