The fairy-tale atmosphere and twinkling lights that frame some of the city's most fascinating and famous streets make Christmas in a unique place like Rome magical and unforgettable.
For the forthcoming Christmas festivities, therefore, the Municipal Administration has issued the Public Notice 'Natale a Roma, le luci della ripresa per una città sostenibile e inclusiva' (Christmas in Rome, the lights of the revival for a sustainable and inclusive city), with a particular focus on enhancing the city, which organizes cultural, musical, tourist, entertainment, and leisure initiatives for citizens and tourists during the Christmas period.
The call for bids aims to find technical sponsors to embellish the Capital's most attractive streets, as well as some of its more decentralised areas, with light installations that, without being costly for the Administration, contribute to creating a uniform and harmonious Christmas atmosphere among the various municipal territories, with particular attention to energy saving and environmental protection.
In exchange, the Municipality of Rome will offer the possibility of advertising the name, logo, brand, products, services, and the like of the proposing party, following the procedures outlined in the Public Notice.
By the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the Public Notice, extended to 12 noon on 10 October 2023, no applications were received by the Department of Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion.
