The XIV edition of the FISDIR Italian Judo Championships, thanks to the collaboration with the FIJLKAM - Italian Federation of Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts - this year takes place inside the Palazzetto PalaPellicone (Pala FIJLKAM) at the Matteo Pellicone Olympic Center.
The Italian Judo Championships FISDIR (Italian Paralympic Sports Federation of Relational Intellectual) were born in 2008 and represent the most important national meeting between athletes with intellectual-relational disabilities from all regions of Italy.
The 2023 edition takes place during the Italian Team Judo Championship A1/A2 JU/SE FIJLKAM, as the basis of the project idea is the belief that even for children with intellectual disabilities (intellectual or mental discomfort) affirmed the principle according to which commitment, constancy and individual ability are indispensable elements in a path of affirmation of one's autonomy. In fact, the project aims to promote those processes of integration and social inclusion using the aggregation channel of sport activity and intends to act in a combined way in the field of sport and disability.
The FISDIR championships also aim to encourage meetings and comparisons between the technicians of the different Associations operating on the national territory, to share experiences, knowledge, evaluation procedures, verification of methodologies and working methods.
