The Terrace of the Mercato Trionfale, Rome’s largest district market, a stone’s throw from St. Peter’s Square, will host from Friday 10 May to Sunday 12 May the first edition of Trionfale al Femminile, the multidisciplinary festival on female creativity promoted by the Scenikattiva cultural association with the patronage of the I Municipio Roma Centro.
Trionfale al Femminile is a unique festival celebrating the world of women and women in the world with meetings and initiatives ranging from art to wine culture, from literature to music and theatre. The event opens with the inauguration of the Imaginary Library, a literary space that combines the pleasure of reading with a welcoming environment, amidst plants and fragrances, to promote women’s culture and the role of libraries as places for meeting and sharing.
During the three days of the festival it is also possible to participate in the podcasting workshop “Le voci del mercato Trionfale” and in moments of interaction with centers active in the fight against gender violence in the area. The event will be closed by the DJ set by Tatiana, DJ selector of Radio Rock, and the theatre-song show “Roma è Femmina”.
