Forte! Trionfale Urban Factory hosts Titanic - Un Viaggio nel Tempo (A Journey in Time), an extraordinary virtual reality experience created to transport you straight back to 1912, to relive one of history's most legendary and tragic moments aboard the famous ocean liner.

For the first time in Italy and Europe, Titanic - Un Viaggio nel Tempo is a 360-degree immersive adventure using cutting-edge technology to experience the Titanic's odyssey, from departure to the fatal collision with the iceberg.

The journey begins in the present day on a submarine heading to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Lasting 45 minutes - the experience takes you virtually 4,000 metres below the ocean surface to explore the remains of the Titanic wreck. From the ocean depths you will be transported to Southampton in April 1912, when the majestic ocean liner was at the height of her greatness, ready to set sail.

After depositing your boarding pass, you will board the liner as a first-class passenger and be welcomed by an officer who will start the tour on deck to tell you about life on board. You will also be able to talk to the lookouts searching for icebergs. From there, you will descend into the mighty engine room, the beating heart of the ship, where you can join the crew to fire up the coal-fired boilers.

You will then be escorted to your private cabin to unpack and enjoy a moment of rest before dinner, appreciating all the details of the era, characterised by luxury suspended in time.

The path of Titanic - Un Viaggio nel Tempo will continue as you discover other well-known areas: the iconic staircase that immortalises Jack and Rose's love story from James Cameron's film, the luxurious dining rooms and the control room. You will meet real historical figures - such as an engineer involved in the construction of the ship, Captain Edward Smith, and other famous passengers who will engage you in an interactive narrative - and take part in the day-to-day operations of the ship right up to the climax of the crossing, reliving the thrilling moment of the collision with the iceberg and Titanic's tragic end.

In addition to experiencing one of the most famous events in history first-hand, you will have the opportunity to discover the details of the ship's construction. Through VR technology, you can learn about the innovation of its design, listening to the stories of the visionaries who designed and built what would become one of the world's most iconic ships.
