Roma once again celebrates the “seventh art” with the 18th Rome Film Fest, hosted at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, which will host the main screening halls and one of the longest red carpets in the world.
The event, also hosted in other locations in the city, is officially recognized by the FIAPF (Fédération Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films). The program includes an international competition, whose films will be judged by a jury of professionals from the world of cinema, culture and arts, non-competitive sections, meetings with the public, events, special screenings and tributes. On the schedule is also Alice nella città, the parallel section dedicated to the younger generations, which takes place with its regulations.
In the past editions, numerous world cinema protagonists took part in the Rome Film Fest. Many films presented have received the highest awards, such as the Oscars® and the Golden Globes, the most famous awards of European cinema, such as the European Film Awards, the César and the Goyas, and the Italian ones, from the David di Donatello to the Nastri d'Argento.
Roma Pass holders will receive a 20% discount for all the screenings of the Rome Film Festival on the purchase of tickets priced over 5 euros, subject to availability, by showing the card at the ticket office of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone from 18 to 29 October, according to the times indicated on the website www.romacinemafest.it
