For the second consecutive year at Christmas, music, culture and entertainment arrive in two popular districts of Rome with the Recovery Festival, 10 meetings, all with free admission.
From 11 to 15 December appointment at Piazza San Gaudenzio, in the Torrenova district of the VI Municipio, and from 18 to 22 December at Piazza Don Bosco, in the VII Municipio.
Cultural and historical moments are the big news and will be the opening of each evening. Before the shows, archaeologists, experts and specialised professors will take to the stage to tell the citizens about the archaeological recovery and redevelopment of monuments, including those that are less well-known but no less important, financed thanks to the PNRR's Caput Mundi project.
After the cultural event, in which specially made videos will be screened, a different kind of show will be staged every evening, to satisfy all tastes: from gospel to folk music, from cabaret to pop singers appreciated by the youngest, up to magic shows for children and Paolo Ruffini's show with children with disabilities on Sunday morning.
Godmother of the initiative, Rossella Brescia, will be anchoring the show.
Among the artists on the bill, all of national and international renown:
- At Largo San Gaudenzio, the festival starts with the Sherrita Duran Gospel Show (11 December), followed by Fasma (13 December), Antonio Giuliani (14 December), and the magical children's show Master of Magic (15 December).
- In Piazza Don Bosco, between comedy and music, there will be performances by Max Giusti (18 December), The Inspirational Choir of Harlem, a mix of gospel, jazz and R&B (19 December), Sarah and Antonino (21 December), and the festival will conclude with the entertaining show by Paolo Ruffini (22 December).
