Luxury loves Cinema & Moda

An inseparable, almost symbiotic relationship links two of Italy’s finest industries – cinema and fashion, the protagonists of a love story that in Rome dates back at least to the “Hollywood on the Tiber” era, in the 1950s, when the city became the privileged catwalk for the timeless divas of the silver screen and renown fashion stylists.

This evocative and engaging interplay of cross-references between the two arts, and the special bond that fashion has with Rome, are at the center of the exhibition organized for the 2022 edition of the Rome Film Festival by Luxury files magazine, the lifestyle magazine on the editorial scenes for more than 20 years. Included in the calendar of the “Risonanze” section, the exhibition can be visited with free entrance in the splendid spaces of one of the Capital’s best-known and oldest luxury addresses, the Hotel de La Ville on Via Sistina.

Expertly directed by photographer Fulvio Maiani, actresses and actors in contemporary cinema will tell fascinating stories, wearing dream garments in enchanted locations.
