World Premiere On 5 and 6 January 2025, exclusively for Natale Auditorium: the Orchestra Popolare Italiana and the Coro Popolare brings to the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone's La ChiaraStella, an original project by Ambrogio Sparagna, now in its 18th edition, which in this extraordinary Jubilee Time, expresses a strong desire for Peace and Communion among peoples through the re-proposal of some popular songs that have their origin in the ancient Franciscan tradition linked to the Crib.
Starting from the example of the Canticle of the Creatures, which found in Francis of Assisi a great interpreter and poet, and from the richness of ancient lauds, the show proposes a series of songs drawn from the rich Italian popular sacred tradition.
These are precious jewels of festive devotion, with a mystical and popular character, describing the greatness of Creation and the happiness at the birth of the Saviour Child.
Thanks to the extraordinary beauty of the tales, nursery rhymes, crib stories, pastorals and bagpipe sounds that arouse a strong emotion among all those present, typical of the ‘Holy Cheerfulness’ of Christmas, La ChiaraStella is confirmed, as it is every year, as a great popular festival that involves all kinds of audiences, especially children: an unmissable event in the Auditorium.
La ChiaraStella is an original Fondazione Musica per Roma production.
