Ibrahim Maalouf, a trumpet virtuoso, is in concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. A prominent figure in the field of jazz music, Maalouf stands out for a fusion of genres which, for ten years now, has allowed him to gain the record of being the first jazz musician in history to have sold out the most important halls French concert.

Born in Beirut in 1980, Ibrahim Maalouf is internationally recognized as the most popular instrumentalist on the French music scene. Over the course of his career he has received two Victoires du Jazz for Best World Music Album and Musical Show and two Victoires de la Musique for Concert of the Year. Maalouf also received honors from the French government as a Knight of the National Order of Merit and a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the global music industry such as Sting, Marcus Miller and Melody Gardot.
