On 25 June, the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone will host Fontaines D.C., the Irish post-punk band that won over audiences and critics with its debut album 'Dogrel' (2019), a masterpiece that earned a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.
What sets Fontaines D.C. apart is their authenticity: 'I think there's authenticity in what we do, and people have been hungry for authenticity for too long,' Chatten said in an interview on Irish radio.
This commitment to authenticity is key to understanding Fontaines' D.C. aesthetic.
In 2022, the band released 'Skinty Fia', their consecration album.
