#FightTheViolence by The Shadow Project

The Shadow Project association, thanks to the support of various technical sponsors, organizes the #FightTheViolence event to raise awareness on the theme of the World Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The day, sponsored by the Municipality of Rome, in particular the Department of Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion, is promoted by two important testimonials in international combat sports such as Gloria Peritore, boxer and three-time world kickboxing champion and Luigi Busà, Olympic gold medalist in karate, both activists in the field of anti-violence.

The program of the event which begins at 6.00 pm, consists of two main parts:

- an Open Talk with the presence of municipal and regional institutions, with representatives of anti-violence associations such as Befree and Donnexstrada and with various international champions of combat sports who intervene to discuss the topic of violence against women;

- a Fightwork, a moment of real physical confrontation, with mixed training between men and women (without contact), to introduce the spectators present to combat sports, conducted and coordinated by testimonials and the TSP Team.

The Shadow Project is an association created to spread the values ​​of combat sports to condemn violence against women born from Gloria Peritore and Sonia Fracassi, both professional boxers, Olympic gold medalist in the Karate discipline Kumite, Luigi Busà, and the technician Manuele Raini, DTN of the Italian national kickboxing team and sports director.

The event is completely free and open to the public. For organizational reasons, for Fightwork training it is necessary to register by filling out the online form found on the website www.theshadowproject.it or by writing to info@theshadowproject.it with your personal details.
