Festival Treccani della lingua italiana 2025

Conceived by Treccani Cultura, the Treccani Festival is the first itinerant festival entirely dedicated to the Italian language, created to emphasize, through meetings, concerts, performances and films, the value of words as a means of expression and reasoning, of sharing and comparison. At the center of this eighth edition is the word “responsibility”, with the meaning given to it and the way it is interpreted and used: a theme of great ethical, social and political relevance that opens interesting scenarios both in international relations and in family, work and public life.

The Roman event of the festival, realized with the participation of the Lazio Region, the support of Roma Capitale, in collaboration with Municipio Roma VIII and Università Roma Tre, the Istituzione Biblioteche di Roma, Topolino and Panini Comics, and the organizational support of Zètema Progetto Cultura, will take place also for this eighth edition in the Garbatella district. Institutional guests include Massimiliano Fiorucci, Rector of the Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Massimo Bray, Director General of the Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana, and Amedeo Ciaccheri, President of the Municipio Roma VIII, who are entrusted with the introductory greetings along with Maya Vetri, head of the Culture Department of Roma Capitale.

Among the many participants are Carmen Lasorella, Antonella Palmisano, Raffaella Scarpa, Paolo Mattera, Alice Pasquini, Topolino with two workshops for children, Lorenzo D’Avack, Davide Grippa and Paolo Acanfora. In addition to the meetings, the program includes concerts by the Roma Tre Orchestra Ensemble, the “Le parole delle canzoni dal vivo” format with Colombre and Maria Antonietta, a performance with Daniele Rielli and Gabriele Rampino Ensemble and a screening of the film “Il Traditore” by Marco Bellocchio.
