Eight musical narratives

Otto narrazioni musicali-Foto: sito ufficiale del Teatro di Villa Torlonia

The Villa Torlonia Theater hosts eight monographic musical events dedicated to some of the main authors in the history of music; therefore, these are not simple concerts, but an experiment to make the classical music repertoire known to an increasingly wider audience.

All the evenings, in fact, are characterized by the presence of an expert with the task of talking about the composer, the pieces that are about to be listened to, and finally the role that that repertoire has had in the evolution of musical thought. This is a way to better understand the beauty of classical music, through the interpretation of young musicians, among the best of the new generation on the national and international scene.

The authors on the program are: Brahms, Bach, Wagner, Grieg, Schubert, Mozart, Stravinsky, Mendelssohn; the event, which covers most of the year, from October 2024 to May 2025, can therefore be considered as an itinerary in the company of great music, in collaboration with Roma Tre Orchestra.
