A band from the Roman coast, the Disco Zodiac officially reunited in 2012 and began to have their following thanks to the first original songs.
In the summer of 2014, they were in the Postepay Rock in Roma Factory contest, winning the first prize. In 2015, after the publication of the EP Linda e i suoi difetti, they opened the concert for Alt-J.
In the summer of 2018, they launched Della Città, the song that opened the doors to their new vintage sound. At the end of the same year, they began collaborating with Marta Venturini, who produced their latest singles, such as Vino che resterà, at the top of the Spotify Indie School playlist for several weeks.
At the end of 2019, they released Platino, and in 2020, two more songs: Supereroi and Scusami. On 27 January, they released Retro Pop, the band's first official album that combines different atmospheres and stories using pop as the only common thread.
Boreale is Alessandro Morini, a singer-songwriter with marked opposing but never contradictory characteristics.
A perpetual melee made of a punk past and the breeze of an imaginary carrying his name coexist in him. Boreale is fired-pastel colours, his own last three letters, which enclose and cover the human personification of Alessandro.
In 2019, he began to collaborate with Marta Venturini, former artistic producer of, among others, Calcutta, Paola Turci, Emma Marrone, and Galeffi. In May of the same year, he released his first single: Maggio Novantasei. Various songs, all capable of climbing the most prominent editorial playlists, followed it. Un posto sicuro is his new album, released in December 2022.
Hosted in the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, RETAPE is the exhibition curated by Ernesto Assante dedicated to the new proposals of the Italian music scene: an observation point, a sort of lighthouse that tries to illuminate the shores of Italian music to help sailors "see" today's scene to discover its new and future protagonists.
