De Gregori Zalone

Francesco De Gregori and Checco Zalone give life to a surprising live concert-event entitled "De Gregori Zalone - Voice and piano (& band)", at the Caracalla's Baths, as part of the summer season of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

The well-known comedian and actor, in fact, on this occasion, takes on the role of the musician to accompany the voice of Francesco De Gregori on the piano in the album Patiche, which the unexpected duo presents in Rome, on this unique summer date, for an unrepeatable event .

The entire album, recorded live in various sessions between 2023 and 2024, is characterized by the sound of the piano of Checco Zalone, a truly excellent and eclectic musician, able to move with ease between blues, jazz and classical music, as well as by the engaging sound of Francesco De Gregori's band and other musicians of various origins who contribute, together with the Italian Cinema Orchestra, to creating a "vintage" and therefore fascinating atmosphere.

The album contains the song Giusto o misto by De Gregori and Zalone, together with other songs by De Gregori and other Italian artists, from Paolo Conte to Pino Daniele, from Nino Manfredi to Antonello Venditti.
