His career officially began in 1994, with a debut album that won him the Tenco Prize as the best debut work of the year and with his first participation in the Sanremo Festival. The 10 solo albums released since then (not counting live performances and the successful project with friends and colleagues Max Gazzè and Niccolò Fabi in 2014) included many hit songs, such as “Le cose in commune”, which allowed him to attract the attention of critics and audiences; “Salirò”, a timeless classic that has sold more than 50 thousand copies; or “Il mio nemico”, an anti-war song that won the Amnesty International Italia award.
To celebrate his first 30 years in the world of music, after the last Estate X tour Daniele Silvestri will return to perform live, from January to April 2024, with 30 consecutive concerts at the Sala Petrassi of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, a place the Roman singer-songwriter has called his definitive new home: a “resident show” in the city where it all began and where he took his first artistic steps.
“Il cantastorie recidivo” will trace not only the successful career of one of the most beloved artists on the Italian music scene but also 30 years of Italian society history, through those songs that marked the singer-songwriter's career and wrote an important page of Italian songwriting. For the audience of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, each replica will be a surprise, a new and original show each night, in full Silvestri style.
