Organized by the Department of Management of the University of Rome "La Sapienza", the first-level university Master's degree in Fashion Management was born starting in the 2021/2022 Academic Year to offer technical-professional preparation aimed at rapid entry into the market of work.

The course, lasting one year, entitles students to 60 university credits and aims to train experts in the field of fashion management, who can understand its many aspects, including creative, economic, financial, organizational, technological, sustainable, have problem-solving skills and apply key-management models to support decision-making processes.

The educational path is provided through lessons, exercises and seminars focused on different modules, including Fashion and media; Fashion Management and Fashion Law; Distribution contracts in the fashion chain, Influencer Marketing; Sustainability in fashion companies; Production cycles and Marketing in Jewellery; Internationalization of fashion companies; Technologies 4.0 in the fashion sector; Strategic analysis to support fashion management; Supply Chain Management; Entrepreneurship; Design; Scenarios of Contemporary; Digital Marketing; Fashion Branding; Sales Management; Performance measurement; Project management and Design Thinking.

All participants in the Master can take advantage of a job placement and orientation service, as well as a curricular internship. The internship period provides a professional training project work that the students have to discuss in front of an official Commission to achieve the Master's Diploma.

The course takes place at the headquarters of the Faculty of Economics in via del Castro Laurenziano, in front of the University City and a few steps from the Basilica of San Lorenzo outside the Walls.
