Studying, reading, being informed and spending time together: this is the aim of the Sala Studio Euclide (‘Euclide Study Room’), which provides citizens with a large reading, studying and coworking space in about 250 square metres, equipped with over sixty workstations, charging sockets for laptops, sofas with soundproof backrests and WI-FI.
The Sala Studio Euclide has more than 1,600 titles available for loan, an online catalogue consultation station and the interlibrary loan service, which allows users to reserve online and receive on site all the titles in the Biblioteche di Roma catalogue.
It is equipped with an LED lighting system and enriched by the works of American photographer Brendan Pattengale, an expert in the exploration of photographic methods and colour perception.
The opening of the new Study Room at the Centro Euclide in the Municipio XV, which is due to the Società Euclide's adhesion to the proposal of the Istituzione Biblioteche di Roma and the Municipio XV, brings the total number of the Roma Capitale libraries to 41, and two become those in the municipality, with the Biblioteca Galline Bianche in the Labaro district.
