The South Korean pianist, a dazzling example of a new-generation musician, acclaimed by international critics and the public for her latest record dedicated to the frontier composer between classical and jazz, Nikolai Kaspustin, for which she has been compared to the legendary Oscar Peterson for rhythm-timing and to Bill Evans for sound and touch, will be a guest at the Casa del Jazz with her ‘Affinity’.

She trained in chamber music at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with a focus on 20th century music that brought her a Grammy Award nomination.

She has performed at prestigious institutions and important music festivals and has won many awards in Italy and abroad for her passion and profound artistic and professional dedication.

Alongside her traditional concert activity, she has an inexhaustible curiosity for new worlds and repertoires and has collaborated with musicians in the Pop, Jazz and Electronic genres, with visual artists and for theatre projects.

She was Special Guest on singer-songwriter Max Gazzè's Alchemaya Tour and has performed on the stages of the most important Italian arenas such as the Baths of Caracalla, the Sferisterio in Macerata, the Arena in Verona and the Teatro Antico in Taormina, bringing the music of Rachmaninov, one of her favourite composers, to a predominantly pop audience.
