Festa de' Noantri 2026

From July 13 to 27, 2026, the Festa de' Noantri returns to Trastevere, one of Rome's most beloved and distinctive celebrations, linked to popular devotion to the Madonna Fiumarola and the Trastevere residents' sense of belonging. The phrase "Festa de' Noantri" in fact refers to "the rest of us", as opposed to "you others who live in other neighborhoods."

This year's edition, organized by the Il Posto delle Fragole APS Association, offers a wide-ranging program of free events dedicated to citizens, families, residents, and visitors, in the neighborhood's squares, alleys, and iconic locations.

The heart of the event is Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, where nine evenings of free performances are scheduled from July 17th to 25th.

The program opens with a concert by the Banda della Polizia Locale di Roma Capitale, followed by the concert-reading Liberi Sempre - Ancora una volta (Free Forever - Once Again) with Michela Ponzani, the comedy Pezzi Comici in una Piazza - Trastevere si racconta (Comedy Pieces in a Square - Trastevere Tells Its Story) and Sergio Giuffrida's cabaret with Roman Parents.

The program continues with From Pizzica to Flamenco, Rome. Wonders, Contradictions, Poetry, the Roman Stornellata, the concert Homage to Rome with Raffaella Misiti & Le Romane and Pino Marino, and ends on July 25th with Sanpietrino Disco, a concert by Burning Season.

In addition to the main stage events, the festival also offers activities throughout the neighborhood: initiatives for children and families in Piazza San Cosimato, meetings dedicated to wellness and active aging in the Donna Olimpia Gardens, guided tours of the Museum of Rome in Trastevere, a cultural walk with art historian Valeria Danesi, and theatrical performances.

Special events include Francesco. Il passo leggero (Francis. The Light Step), a theatrical performance dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, on the occasion of the eighth centenary of the saint's death. On July 21st, 24th, and 25th, the Trastevere Recita nei Vicoli (Trastevere Performms in the Alleys) project will bring short theatrical performances to the neighborhood's most evocative corners, transforming the district into an open-air stage.

Also on the program is City Adventure - Trastevere in Gioco, an urban gaming experience in Italian and English that will guide the public through the discovery of the neighborhood's cultural heritage through puzzles, quizzes, and interactive stages.

All events are free to attend, except for visits to the Museum of Rome in Trastevere, which is free for Rome residents and subject only to the cost of an entrance ticket for non-residents.
