From 8 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, Rome lights up with wonder as the magic of the festive season returns in all its splendour. Glittering illuminations, towering Christmas trees, markets, performances and that unmistakable atmosphere only Rome can offer transform the city into a true winter dreamscape.

Tools: the new mural at the Piazza Venezia construction site unveiled

In the vibrant heart of Rome, where past and future meet every day, the construction site of the forthcoming Venezia Station on Metro Line C once again becomes a stage for contemporary art with Tools, the new installation by Elisabetta Benassi. It is the third intervention in the “Murales – contemporary art in the metro” project, conceived to transform the ten industrial silos overlooking Piazza Venezia into visual monuments to urban change.

Fifteen works of art on the streets and squares of Rome, from the center to the suburbs, to make them more beautiful, more colorful, and more sustainable. The “Blu Art - i colori dell’aria” (Blu Art - the colors of the air) project is one of the measures with which the city administration aims to combat air pollution, while enhancing public spaces with urban redevelopment projects.
