Fighting Spirit World Series

After the great success of the 2022 edition, Rome returns to host one of the most important events dedicated to Muay Thai, a Thai martial art and full-contact combat sport rich in culture, history and fascinating traditions. Also known as Thai boxing, Muay Thai has ancient origins: it was born on battlefields and its consecration as a sport dates back to the 18th century. Even today it is still the national sport of Thailand although it is loved and practiced all over the world.

The most famous national and international Muay Thai Fighters are ready to challenge each other in the ring at the Palastudio in Cinecittà World: a real show not only from a sports point of view. The discipline is known as the “Art of eight limbs”, as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins, and it is distinguished by the effectiveness and explosiveness of its strikes. As many as 3 European Thai Fight titles, 1 World Fight Clubbing tournament and 1 Italian title will be contested in the Fighting Spirit World Series.

The event is organized by l Team Colonnese Promotion and Gianluca Colonnese and supported by the National Thai Tourism Board of Rome and the Italian Federation of Kickboxing Muaythai Savate Shootboxe Sambo - FIKBMS.
