Corri al Mare - La 11 km del Mare di Roma

Organized by ASD Run Race Management, Corri al Mare is a road running event over the distance of 11.250 km reserved for athletes with FIDAL membership or one of the sports promotion bodies recognized by CONI, or in possession of Run Card (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete).

The route is mostly flat and takes place within the Pineta di Castelfusano, a protected area with a mosaic of natural environments, passing through the wonderful archaeological site of Pliny’s villa and the Via Severiana, the ancient coastal road made paved by Septimius Severus in the 3rd century AD (from which it takes its name).

The event is also open to non-professional runners: in fact, a non-competitive short course and a free pace walk are planned for the same distance.
