Ascanio Celestini is on stage at the Vittoria Theater with his show Pasolini Museum. The Roman actor, director and theatrical author, considered one of the most important representatives of the new narrative theater, in his latest work investigates the figure of Pierpaolo Pasolini, as part of the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of the great Friulian poet and writer.
Pasolini Museum is an utopian place imagined through the testimonies of a historian, a psychoanalyst, a writer, a reader, a criminologist and a witness who knew it. Celestini's idea is to reconstruct the figure of the writer by narratively structuring a hypothetical museum and wondering which tangible and intangible objects we could exhibit there, considering that Pasolini, in his work, told about all the enormous changes that have taken place in our country in the long period going from the end of fascism to the mid-1970s.
