Flautissimo 2024

The autumn appointment with Flautissimo, the widespread festival, which is held at the Palladium Theatre, India Theatre, Lido Theatre, Vascello Theater and Torlonia Theatre, is renewed this year as well. Directed by Stefano Cioffi, the festival, born as a cultural event dedicated to classical chamber music, has broadened its horizons over time, also opening up to new contemporary languages. So today Flautissimo is an event that also includes theatre, jazz, children's shows and multidisciplinary performances.

Now in its twenty-sixth edition, the festival is organized by the Italian Flute Academy, founded in Rome in 1988 for the promotion and dissemination of art, theatre, live show production, photography, teaching, music, live performing and publishing. Since 1991 the Academy has organized Flautissimo, a multidisciplinary event that includes performances of music, literature, theater and other contemporary artistic expressions also using new media. Today is the main European festival dedicated to flutism.
