Fashion & Talents - 6th edition

Fashion & Talents is the fashion show-event presenting the new voices of fashion, with the best collections created by emerging designers from Accademia del Lusso and students from prestigious national and international institutes. The event, created in 2018, is sponsored by the Department of Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale and is organized in collaboration with eCampus University, one of Italy’s leading online universities.

The fashion show will be presented by journalist Eleonora Daniele and take place in one of the most famous squares in the world: piazza di Spagna, an icon of Rome, cinema and fashion where big brands boutiques have their shops. The concept of the clothes made this year by the students of Accademia del Lusso Roma is “Oniricon”, a tribute to the artistic genius of Federico Fellini, a journey in a modern key into the dreamlike vision of an unexpected and constantly changing world. Special guest on the Fashion & Talents stage is Francesca Fabbri Fellini, the granddaughter of the great Italian director.

For the 6th edition of the event, the international fashion and design institutes selected are Sanda University in Shanghai, which specializes in Fashion Design and is active in collaborations with leading fashion companies, and Metropolitan University in Belgrade, which offers an innovative approach on education based on critical and creative thinking. The most deserving students from the high schools involved in the event (this year, Liceo Artistico Paritario Ugo Foscolo and Istituto Aniene) are given the opportunity to obtain a scholarship to train at the Accademia del Lusso.

Every year, Fashion & Talents stands alongside associations and foundations engaged in scientific research on still incurable diseases. The 2024 edition supports the non-profit association Comici Camici, professional clown-doctors trained to accompany children and adults with a smile in the difficult challenges against disease.
