A thrilling journey to Neverland: the Teatro Brancaccio hosts one of the most beloved Italian musicals, which returns to Rome as part of its eagerly awaited new tour in some of Italy's most prestigious theatres.
Inspired by the famous novel Peter and Wendy by James Matthew Barrie, the show of the boy who didn't want to grow up accompanies the audience in a fantastic and engaging tale with surprising special effects - such as Peter Pan's flight and the use of laser technology for Trilly - exciting duels and extraordinary characters, to the notes of unforgettable songs by Edoardo Bennato, rearranged for the occasion, including Il rock di Capitan Uncino, La fata, Ogni favola è un gioco, L'isola che non c'è, Viva la mamma and the unreleased Che paura che fa Capitan Uncino.
On stage, against the backdrop of majestic set designs by Rinaldo Rinaldi and Rino Silveri, a brand new cast of extraordinary artists, including Claudio Castrogiovanni, returning as the fearful Captain Hook, Luca Nencetti (Peter Pan), Martha Rossi (Wendy), Renato Converso (Spugna), Raffaella Alterio (Michael) and Laura Fiorini (John), accompanied by other talented performers, with direction by Maurizio Colombi and colourful cartoon-style costumes by Annunziata Nunzia Aceto.
Presented by Alveare Produzioni, the musical has been a success for 18 years since its debut in 2006: over one million spectators, more than 1000 performances and numerous awards received, including the prestigious Gassman Award and three Agis Golden Tickets.
