Michelangelo Pistoletto. INFINITY

The DART - Chiostro del Bramante presents a great solo exhibition dedicated to one of the masters of contemporary art, the first monograph hosted within the splendid 16th-century complex.

On display are fifty works of art and four large site-specific installations, from historical to the most recent ones, which tell about 60 years of art, from 1966 to 2023, of Michelangelo Pistoletto's 90 years of life.

Curated by Danilo Eccher, INFINITY also includes new creations, realised ad hoc for the spaces of the Cloister, and retraces the entire artistic history of the Maestro, accompanying the public in an engaging narrative experience in the many and "infinite" worlds of the artist, because art has no limits.

The exhibition path reveals the infinity of ways of making art and Pistoletto's infinity of ways of interpreting art through his vision of representing reality over time: from Metrocubo di Infinito, Venere degli Stracci, Orchestra di stracci and Labirinto from the Sixties, to L'Etrusco and the series of Porte Segno Arte together with the Self Portrait of Stars from the Seventies; from the Books of the Nineties to the Mirror Paintings of the 2000s, up to the projects linked to the formula of creation, Love Difference - Mediterranean Sea and Neon, to the Third Paradise.
