Tennis and Friends 2026 Special Edition Internazionali BNL d'Italia

Piazza del Popolo will host the 2026 tour Tennis & Friends - Salute e Sport, an event that for fifteen years has promoted a culture of prevention through the powerful combination of sport, health, entertainment, and education in healthy lifestyles.

Under the slogan “La prevenzione scende in campo” (Prevention Takes the Field), the rich programme of the 2026 tour focuses particularly on cancer prevention and the education of younger generations, who on Friday 8 May will have the opportunity to take to the court alongside FITP coaches on a specially installed clay tennis court in Piazza del Popolo, as part of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.

On Friday 8 May, marking World Ovarian Cancer Day, Tennis & Friends will dedicate significant attention to awareness activities, including a symbolic flash mob. On the same day, performers from the evening show of Amici25 will take the stage to support the message of prevention and healthy living across all age groups.

On Saturday 9 May, for Europe Day, a series of events combining sport, health, and entertainment will animate the heart of the initiative: the Health Village, where citizens will be able to access over 30 free specialist services, including screenings and counselling, across Friday and Saturday.

Among the free specialist consultations and examinations available: cardiology; diabetology; gynaecology; HCV and HIV testing; arterial hypertension and cardiovascular diseases; Ecodoppler scans; metabolic disorders; infectious diseases; nutrition; pancreatic conditions; paediatrics; pulmonology with spirometry; podiatry within diabetic care pathways; hand hygiene and disease transmission prevention; oncology prevention; CPR and airway clearance training; cancer screenings; breast care; thyroid care; urology; vaccinations (HPV, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, herpes zoster, measles, mumps, rubella); postural assessment and physical activity guidance; blood donation; and breast self-examination training.
