The church was built in 1893 by architect Andrea Busiri Vici and belongs to the adjoining convent of the Jeanne-Antide Thouret Sisters of Charity.
The facade, with tall travertine pilasters, is preceded by a double access staircase. A single portal flanked by columns is surmounted by three windows, followed by a dedicatory plaque with the name of the then-reigning pontiff (Pope Leo XIII) and a rose window.
The interior has three naves separated by marble columns. In the apse are placed large, bright stained-glass windows depicting the life of the religious order and St. Vincent de Paul, to whom the church is dedicated.
