To the right of the oratory of St Andrew is the oratory of Santa Barbara or of the Triclinium, restored by Cardinal Baronio (1602-1606) and standing by the remains of a Roman house with annexed shops (C.II - III). To the right of the portal the oratory has an inscription inspired to an antique tradition according to which a triclinium from which Gregory the Great distributed food to the poor was once located there. The interior, based on a single nave, embodies walls that were frescoed by Antonio Viviani da Urbino (1602). On the wall in the background is the statue of Gregory the Great by Nicolas Cordier (1602).
