Next to the wonderful Stazione di Porta S. Paolo by the architect Piacentini, the parc-museum tells the story of trains in Rome and its surroundings through the permanent exhibition of historical carriages, representative of the main societies preceding the present Met.Ro (Stefer, Sefi, Sfv, Roma Nord, etc.), that had been very important in the past for the connections between Rome and its Lido, Viterbo, Fiuggi and the Castelli Romani.
