From 29 October to 1 November 2026, the Teatro Sistina hosts once again the moving musical dedicated to the story of Andrea Spezzacatena, the 15-year-old boy who took his own life due to bullying and cyberbullying.
Based on the blockbuster film by Eagle Pictures and Weekend Films, which was inspired by the book of the same name by Teresa Manes, Andrea’s mother, Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa tackles a hugely important social issue with sensitivity and power, inviting the audience to deep reflection. Through art, beauty, and music, the show speaks to the hearts of entire generations. It shines a light on a true story, raising awareness and inspiring trust and hope, with the pink trousers as a symbol of the fight against bullying and cyberbullying.
On stage, directed by Massimo Romeo Piparo, a cast of extraordinary performers – including Samuele Carrino (Andrea) and Rossella Brescia (his mother) – brings to life an engaging jukebox musical with a wonderful soundtrack featuring Italian pop-rock hits, rearranged for the occasion, such as 100 messaggi, A modo tuo, Gigante, Il filo rosso, La fine, Sogna ragazzo sogna Sanremo, Una musica può fare, Volevo essere un duro and Arisa’s intense Canta ancora, already a signature track from the film.
