The Salone delle Colonne in the EUR district is hosting the third edition of the Rome Fashion Show #Haute Couture, one of the highlights of Rome’s summer fashion calendar, dedicated to emerging talent and environmental sustainability on 18 July, and to leading Italian and international designers on 19 July.
The catwalk will showcase creations from the historic houses of Italian haute couture – Gianni Calignano, Giovanni Cannistrà, Franco Ciambella, Nino Lettieri, Michele Miglionico and Gian Paolo Zuccarello – who will present the new ambassadors of haute couture: Mario Benton, straight from the USA and making his debut in Italy; Pina Grasso from Sicily; Salvatore Pappacena from Campania; Pietro Paradiso from Puglia, and Rezarta Skifteri from Albania; whilst among the emerging talents, the catwalk will feature creations by Accademia Viola, Paola Bignardi, Coldiretti, Concita Petralito, Istituto Aniene, Swiss Fashion Impulse and Scuola di Moda Lugano – straight from Switzerland – and Saro Mattia Taranto.
Of particular importance is the theme of eco-sustainability, with the fashion shows by Coldiretti and the capsule collections by its designers Federica Tavian, Flavia Sbrolli, Candida Piscitelli and Mattia Morbidoni, followed by the creations of Concita and Paola Bignardi.
Space is also being dedicated to the new project, the “Re-Eco Fashion Award”, a collaboration between the UniVerde Foundation, the Technical Committee of the Rome Fashion Show #Haute Couture and the event’s Artistic Director, Steven G. Torrisi, who has already drawn up the guidelines that will shape the 2027 competition between brands, which will award a specially designed scholarship.
On 18 July, a talk involving professionals, institutions and representatives from the worlds of culture, justice and communications will encourage reflection on the themes of the rule of law, the prevention of violence, emotional education and respect for the individual.
Rome Fashion Show #Haute Couture 2026 will be broadcast live worldwide on Giancarlo Presutto’s MR TV Models Runway.
The models’ make-up is by Jonathan Tabacchiera, whilst hairstyling is by Barbaro Virgillito, Pietro Ciuccio and Federico Donnarumma.
