Organised by Roma Capitale - Assessorato alla Cultura, in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura and the I Concerti nel Parco ETS Cultural Association, I Concerti nel Parco is the Roman summer festival which, for thirty-five years, has been weaving together music, theatre, dance and the spoken word into an ever-evolving and free cultural narrative.
Most of the events take place at the Casa del Jazz, a unique venue surrounded by greenery which, for the past ten years, has been the festival’s main and most prestigious venue; this year, it is joined by two “out-of-town” locations: Villa Torlonia in Frascati and the Parco dell’Acquaforte in Capranica. True to the festival’s spirit, the 2026 edition combines original productions with artistic cross-pollination across different genres, featuring guest performances making their national or Rome premieres, such as “2016-2026 Cohen Bowie Prince Michael. Gratitude” with the Gabriele Coen Quartet and the writer Giancarlo De Cataldo.
The event’s program features well-known names on the national and international scene, such as Stefano Massini (the first Italian writer to have won a Tony Award, the “Oscar” of American theatre), Monica Guerritore, the Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, the Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa, the BGKO - Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra, Omar Sosa, Joo Kraus and Diego Pinera. There is also room for young talent, such as Agnese Valle, the Solomeo Open Combo Wind Orchestra, the Papillon Orchestra and the stage design collective Craking Art.
