With the arrival of spring, the Tempietto Concerts – Music Festival of Nations inaugurates a new series of events at the Sala Baldini in the Teatro di Marcello, intertwining classical music, poetry, and international influences in one of the capital's most fascinating venues. The program of the Concerts celebrates spring as a season of artistic rebirth and a meeting of cultures, under the banner of great music and the beauty of art.
The series opens on Sunday, April 5, 2026, with the Easter Concert, preceded at 5:15 pm by a guided tour of the archaeological site of the Theater of Marcellus and the Campitelli district, open to spectators only. At the same time, there will be a focus on spoken word with "Spring – Or the Wonder of Rebirth," a series of poetry readings featuring Stefania Di Lino, Lucia Elia, Maresa Elia, Sonia Giovannetti, Gabriella Giuliani, Francesco Lioce, Homma Junko, Tiziana Marini, Anita Napolitano, Veronica Paredes, and Marina Petrillo, curated by Angelo Filippo Iannoni Sebastianini.
At 6:00 pm, guitarist Carlo Ambrosio offers a refined musical journey spanning centuries and styles, from Alfonso X El Sabio to Johann Sebastian Bach's celebrated Chaconne BWV 1004.
On Monday, April 6, for the Easter Monday Concert, pianist and singer Jia Li presents an eclectic program that combines the great piano repertoire—from Chopin to Liszt, from Schubert to Tchaikovsky—with famous melodies from cinema and international tradition, in a global musical journey between classical and contemporary.
On Thursday, April 9th, with free admission, the stage welcomes the Great Bowden Recital Trust Community Choir, directed by Tracey Holderness. With extensive experience and a strong educational and community outreach program, the British choir offers a program ranging from musicals to pop, from Adele to Paul Simon, in a concert marked by sharing and collective energy.
