On 7 July, the famous Swedish band returns to Rome for an unmissable live performance at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone as part of Rock in Roma, one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of the Roman summer.
Among the most representative artists of 1980s melodic hard rock, Europe – Joey Tempest (vocals), John Norum (guitars), Mic Michaeli (keyboards), John Leven (bass), and Ian Haugland (drums) – perform on the stage of the Cavea, taking the audience on a thrilling musical journey through the most iconic songs of their career.
Formed in 1979, the band achieved great success with their 1984 album Wings of Tomorrow, earning worldwide acclaim for The Final Countdown, the 1986 album featuring the single of the same name, which sold millions of copies and topped the international charts.
After temporarily suspending their musical activities in 1992, Europe, the performers of legendary songs such as Carrie, Rock the Night, and Prisoners in Paradise, started a new chapter in their artistic history.
More than forty years of career and still going strong: an irresistible stage presence, a strong musical identity and a powerful, captivating sound have always been the hallmarks of a band that has conquered generations and left a profound impact on the international rock scene.
