Aladin arrives at the Auditorium Conciliazione, the first solo theatrical work by Stefano D’Orazio, the legendary drummer of the Pooh: a production that transports audiences into a world of magic, adventure and emotion.

Amid the majestic palaces and mysterious alleyways of ancient Baghdad, the destinies of two very different souls are about to meet and intertwine. On one side is Jasmine, a young and rebellious princess and the only heir to the throne, forced to marry without love in order to secure the future of the Sultanate. On the other is Aladin, a clever young thief with a pure heart, constantly pursued by the law yet driven by an unstoppable desire for freedom.

When their eyes meet, it is love at first sight. A sudden and powerful romance that is quickly threatened by the wicked Grand Vizier, determined to manipulate and deceive them both in his relentless pursuit of power.

The turning point comes with the unexpected encounter between Aladin and the Genie of the Lamp, played by Max Laudadio. Through this extraordinary alliance, the young hero finds the courage to challenge his destiny and fight to save the woman he loves.

The evocative imagery of the nights of the East, with their colours and fragrances, shapes a direction designed to make the audience feel fully immersed in the story, sharing the same place and moment as the characters. The stage design, defined by elegant geometric lines and seemingly simple structures, constantly transforms: from the Sultan’s palace to the city streets opening onto the desert, from Jasmine’s intimate chambers to the mysterious Cave of Wonders.

The production is enhanced by spectacular magical effects created by Antonio Casanova, whose illusions and special effects bring the Genie’s powers vividly to life. A flying Genie, a flying carpet, and an immersive lighting design frame a cast of outstanding artistic calibre, carefully selected for this production.

Behind every choreography lies a perfect balance of energy, technique, stylistic variety and storytelling. Like a silent dialogue, sequences of movement and dance convey emotions and narratives that go far beyond words.

On stage, enchanting Odalisques, majestic Princes and ever-watchful Guards will guide audiences of all ages on a journey filled with wonder, rekindling the magic of one of the most beloved tales of childhood.
