Italia Pole & Aerial Contest

Italia Pole & Aerial Contest is the national event that brings together the best Italian artists in the world of Pole and Aerial, a set of artistic and sporting disciplines that combine the elegance, lightness and expressiveness of dance with the spectacularity and technical skill of acrobatics on a pole and on suspended equipment such as fabrics, hoops, trapezes or ropes.

Once again this year, Cinecittà World is hosting the contest organised by Italia Pole & Aerial, a national project that has been running for 12 years, offering high-level competitions and training and collaborating with FIDESM - the Italian Federation of Dance Sport and Musical Sports to promote and regulate these disciplines in Italy, ensuring they are recognised at a professional level.

Dozens of athletes are ready to take turns on the stage at Cinecittà World. There are no age limits, but access to the competition is only possible with prior qualification in an affiliated competition, with a wild card or with a video entry playoff if places are still available. The winners of the 2025 contest will qualify for the 2025 Pole & Aerial World Cup.
