The ACoS 2024 Report on the quality of life and services of Rome Capital was presented at the Campidoglio; according to the document, the percentage of citizens who declare themselves overall satisfied has grown by 8%, with an average score of 6.6 attributed to the quality of life, which maintains a positive trend despite 2024 being a year affected by many preparations for the Jubilee.
Even the rating for public greenery and parks shows a leap forward: exactly between a minimum of 6.3 and a maximum of 7.5, with peaks of greater appreciation especially in the peripheral areas.
As regards the ATAC public transport, this too shows a positive overall result for the past year, deemed sufficient – with a score of 6.1 for the surface service and 6.3 for the subway. In the mobility sector, in fact, there was an overall improvement compared to 2023, with a higher appreciation – above sufficient – especially for the taxis and the subway. From 2021 to 2024, 615 buses entered service and the introduction of the first of 60 trams and 36 trains of metro A and B is planned during this year. The transport service for people with disabilities also confirmed a high level of user satisfaction: the 45.5% of the latter in fact declared themselves very satisfied, while the 47.8% expressed a positive opinion.
Satisfaction with the results of the report was expressed by the Councilor for Personnel, Registry and Electoral Services, Implementation of the Mandate Program, Institutional Communication and Administrative Decentralization Giulio Bugarini and by the Councilor for Mobility Eugenio Patané.
