Passion for two wheels, solidarity and road safety: the appointment with the event organised by the Moto Club Polizia di Stato is back, this year celebrating the association's 40th anniversary.
A twelfth special edition that kicks off on 27 September, at noon, with the village opening at the Sporting Centre of the Polizia di Stato at Tor di Quinto, combining entertainment, performances, music and the fascination of motorbikes. From midnight, Rome's most iconic streets and monuments turn into an exciting stage of lights and motors with the start of the Night Run, an unmissable experience for those who love two wheels and to enjoy the magic of a unique city.
The event, with more than 1,500 participants, including about 400 from abroad, also hosts the Transitalia Marathon, the Adventouring event sponsored by the Polizia di Stato (Italian National Police) and the Senate of the Republic, which is closing the tenth edition of the international tourism event in Rome.
The initiative, dedicated to motorcycling road safety, promotes solidarity, donating the proceeds to the Marco Valerio Plan, a project of the Italian National Police Personnel Assistance Fund, which supports the families of personnel with children and youths up to the age of 18 years affected by chronic diseases.
