The history of tobacconists is intertwined with the history of Italy.

The Tobacconist's Museum project was founded in 2007 and immediately began to take shape and grow, enriching itself every day with donations, testimonies and discoveries. Its purpose is to reconstruct and protect the history of the tobacconist category through the collection of material related to the world of tobacconists, research and interviews. Since 2021, the Museum has finally become a concrete reality; an exhibition space where ancient and modern come together in a perfect union.

A heritage of all tobacconists, it bears witness to what monopoly goods shops have represented in history and, at the same time, reconstructs the evolution of the Italian Tobacconists Federation as a trade organisation. In the conviction that the past, with its history and traditions, is fundamental for building the future together.
