Founded in 1930 to promote building and town studies by fostering the principles of town planning. It organizes researches, congresses, seminars, training courses. It publishes the following magazines: "Urbanistica" and "Quaderni di Urbanistica". It offers its counselling to public administrations in the study and the arrangement of town problems, both general and local.
