Following the success of its inaugural edition, Fuori Sala returns to Rome for the second consecutive year, running alongside the 12th edition of MIA – Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, taking place from 19 to 23 October. Via Veneto and the historic city centre are set to become a major hub for the international film and audiovisual industry.
Inspired by the atmosphere of Cannes’ Croisette, Via Veneto is transforming into a vibrant film district, bringing together hotels, bars, terraces and some of the capital’s most iconic venues. International guests, meetings, debates, masterclasses and film screenings will bring the city to life, thanks to partnerships with local hotels and street associations. It is an opportunity to celebrate the street’s timeless appeal and reintroduce the world to the magic of Rome’s Dolce Vita.
This year’s new feature is an urban map dedicated to film and audiovisual, part of a new MIA format championed by ANICA and APA. The initiative brings together some of the city’s most prestigious hotels, including The Westin Excelsior, InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace, Sina Bernini Bristol, Grand Hotel Palace and W Rome, creating fresh opportunities for industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas and build new partnerships.
The programme is subject to change.
