The exhibition spaces at Fiera Roma are once again hosting the major Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) event dedicated to creativity – an immersive experience featuring over 170 exhibiting brands, hands-on workshops, hard-to-find materials, art installations, exhibitions and charity projects.

The fair is a reference point for DIY enthusiasts and brings together the traditional worlds of DIY. These include paper, scraps and color (calligraphy, decoupage, stamping, scrapbooking and painting techniques), sewing and yarn (creative sewing, DIY fashion, patchwork, felt, knitting, crochet, punch needle), embroidery and tradition (traditional and modern embroidery, cross-stitch, bobbin lace, lacework), bijoux and accessories (beads, threads, crystals, small parts, charms, components) and decoration (creative recycling, home décor, wood, cake design, calligraphy).

The journey into the world of crafts begins with the “Via delle Idee”, featuring 65 of Italy’s most popular crafters, and continues with two other special areas: “Arti di Filo” and “Intrecci Creativi”, where visitors can try their hand at trending techniques such as tufting and punch needle. The tutorials, classes, and tips from the ASI association serve as a go-to resource for the scrapbooking and papercraft communities. Designed to actively engage visitors is the evolving installation “Omaggio ai Fiori d’Artista”, a 2D and 3D textile tribute to floral art to which anyone can contribute their own handmade creation. The program will also include charitable initiatives (organized by Gomitolorosa and the Cuore di Maglia Association) and workshops for children.
