The Stadio dei Marmi at the Foro Italico is hosting the WEmbrace Games 2026, an evening of entertainment and participation designed to promote inclusion, blending games and spectacular staging
Play Wild is the battle cry that breaks down every barrier through play and inclusion; it is a journey through time, into a wild and primordial world where only one thing matters: teamwork.
Eight teams from all over Italy, made up of people with and without disabilities, adults and children, are ready to compete in three spectacular Jurassic challenges. Heart-pounding races, spectacular games, rock-climbing walls, untameable volcanoes and trials to be overcome together: every moment is a mix of adrenaline, team spirit and pure fun.
WEmbrace Games was founded in 2011 on the initiative of the art4sport Association under the name Giochi Senza Barriere (Games Without Barriers), inspired by the famous television format Giochi Senza Frontiere (Jeux sans frontières). In 2022, it took on the new name of WEmbrace Games, in line with the launch of the WEmbrace movement – which literally means ‘We embrace’.
This charity initiative has been conceived and organised by the art4sport Association, founded in 2009 by Paralympic foil champion Beatrice “Bebe” Vio Grandis together with her parents.
The eight teams taking part in the WEmbrace Games are made up of people of all ages – including internationally renowned athletes and celebrities from the entertainment world – from different parts of Italy and the world.
The event features a fundraising initiative in aid of art4sport, which supports and promotes sport as a form of therapy for the physical and psychological recovery of children and young people with prosthetic limbs.
The Association’s aim is to research, develop and fund the expensive prosthetics and equipment required for the practice of Paralympic sport.
The programme is subject to change
