
A full programme of special openings, guided tours, workshops and free educational activities in Rome’s municipal museums and archaeological sites, to discover the city’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, during Holy Week.
Among the special events, guided tours of the Palazzo Senatorio on the Capitoline Hill have also been confirmed for Sunday 5 April (bookings open on Thursday 2 April at 4.00 pm).

The tours, which are free of charge but require booking in advance by calling 060608, are conducted in Italian and take place in four sessions of up to 30 participants each, starting at 10.00am, 11.30am, 3.00pm and 4.30pm, and last approximately 75 minutes.
Furthermore, on Easter Sunday, which coincides with the first Sunday of the month, admission is free for everyone.

The Civic Museums are also open to the public on Easter Monday to showcase their rich artistic and cultural heritage.
